This is very disappointing to me. I personally believe that Prop 8 should not have passed, however it did and under the law as it stands now, Prop 8 should be enforced. However, I do think the Supreme Court should get rid of the decision of DoMa. I do not agree that marriage should be defined as strictly between a man and a woman. However, if that does not happen, because that is unlikely, California can still come up with another initiative to amend this amendment to the state constitution, however, it may not come up for a number of years.
