After reading this, I believe that Obama wouldn't have passed C. Res. 275. I believe he would've voted against it such as myself and Aislinn. In this article, Obama's primary focus was on establishing and maintaining a peaceful relationship with the Middle Eastern nations. The bill that we passed during the simulation was basically an impediment to the relationship with Saudi Arabia. If Obama was trying to establish a peaceful coexistence with these nations, he would've also recognized that the bill would only hinder that because of its threat to the sovereignty in Saudi Arabia. It would've been opposing all that he is promoting right now.
