This poll asks who "likely voters" will vote for for president. What are the differences between a regular person, a registered voter, and a likely voter? Why do you think it matters that Gallup is surveying likely voters instead of any old person?

There are some differences between a regular person, a registered voter, and a "likely voter". In my opinion, a regular person is just someone who goes along with what other people's opinions are. This person is not very committed in voting and he/she just let the "registered voters" vote for the candidate that is right for the role. A registered voter is someone who is very concern about the country. This registered voter really wants to make a difference and want the best for everyone. A "likely voter" can be EITHER the regular person or the registered voter. A registered voter also wants to spread his or her words about the election. Some people does this just to spread their opinions and who they think would win. This polls are important because it gives the people some sort of information about what other people think of the candidates. It gives them idea that other people have different perspective and not everyone has to go along with other people's opinion.
