The Sara Palin rap was just the greatest thing that I ever saw in my 17 years of existence, except for the time that I saw Justin Timberlake coming out of hotel in downtown San Francisco no lies it actually happened. Anyways the skit was great and everything was hilarious from the moment when Amy Pohler began to rap to the very end. I didn't even know that when the man came out, not the Eskimos, was her husband. I thought that he was an artic racer and I was laughing so hard when I found out it was the husband. I loved how they summarized everything that Palin has really told us about herself, like how she can see Russia from her house. I think SNL did a great job on portraying Palin stand on things and her personality.

The "Sarah Palin Rap" was not really that great and I did not enjoy it very much. I never even watch SNL. Sarah Palin kind of just sat there and did this weird head bob/arm punching thing like she was trying to take sexy back. I guess she was attempting to create a different image of herself than has already been out there. She did not want the only portrayal of herself to be something that Tina Fey made up. The thing I felt a little weird about was the simple fact that Sarah Palin appeared on a show like SNL in the first place. It just seemed a bit unprofessional.

The Sarah Palin rap was hilarious! The first time I saw this video, I just couldn't stop laughing. I didn't even know that she was even going to be on SNL, so when I found out about this, I checked out the video right away. I thought that Amy Poehler was vey funny and she did a great job on it. This video changed my outlook on Sarah Palin. It made me think that maybe she's not ready to be a leader of the country. I think that she's just doing this to change the outlook of people on her or to get publicity for votes.

Sarah Palin on SNL was interesting. It was pretty funny when Alec Baldwin was talking to Sarah Palin as if she was Tina Fey and sort of making fun of her. Also, it was pretty funny when Tina Fey realized that Sarah Palin was on SNL and had Sarah Palin take over the introduction/opening of SNL. I think the highlight of SNL was the Sarah Palin rap. Sarah Palin's rap that she was supposed to perform was pretty funny. I think Amy Poehler did a great job rapping for her. I think it would of been a bit better if Sarah Palin actually performed the rap herself. I didn't realize until afterwards that the guy who came in during the middle of the rap was Sarah Palin's husband. I think having Sarah Palin on SNL might increase the way people feel about her because SNL portrayed her personality and herself as an outgoing and funny person.

I thought it was a mistake for Sarah Palin to go on SNL. Yes, it shows that she has a sense of humor but personally I think it just makes her look unprofessional. I thought she made herself seem that she didn't care what people think reassuring people that she not ready to help run the country, also giving women a bad rep. I mean the election is two weeks away I think this might hurt her. I just think there was a more perfessional way of stating the point that people are making fun of her, but i do think it was hilarious.

This video was really funny, Amy did a good job rapping. The rap talked about John McCain and of course Sarah Palin. The rap described John McCain as experienced and a person who has style. One of my favorite moments of the video was when it said to watch out for John McCain’s smile because it was creepy. My other favorite part was when the moose’s came out and the shooting sounds. This was a very entertaining video. According to the New York Times article, it was the first time since 1994 that SNL had such a large number watching the show. About 14 million were watching the show. It also mentioned that Sarah Palin showed that she does have a sense of humor. Some people were confused if it was a “political tactic” or just for business. I thought what the article said about Sarah Palin being able to host her own television show was interesting because I think it would be funny to see he host a show. This was a very funny and an interesting video. I still have the part of John McCain’s smile being creepy stuck in my head. I thought that was really funny.

I watched the video twice. I thought the Saturday Night Live skit was very funny. In my opinion I thought that the Sarah Palin Rap could have been better if Sarah Palin rapped instead of Amy. I thought it should have been called the Amy Poehler Rap about Sarah Palin instead. Sarah Palin only watched and bobbed to the rap Amy Poehler did about her.

I was disappointed because I thought she would have a larger part in the skit. I laughed the hardest when the men dressed as eskimos and the moose appeared on stage. At first I didn't understand why Sarah Palin would shoot a moose but I later found out.

I was watching the news one day and found out that Sarah Palin's favorite food is moose stew. I started laughing really hard when I found out because it explained why she shot mooses in Alaska. I then went back and saw the skit again and laughed harder at the joke. The rap summarized intentional and unintentional jokes Sarah Palin has said.

The rap would have been better if Sarah Palin had rapped. The SNL skit gave her a lot of publicity. It also was a great way to show that she wasn't angry at SNL for making jokes about her. The skit will help introduce Sarah Palin to people who have been living in a bubble the last couple of months. The media can help or break the career of a certain candidate depending on how its used.

I watched SNL on Saturday, and Palin barely said two words. I understand that if she spent too much time on the show and if she did the wrong things, it would damage her credibility as the possible vice president. But still, it was disappointing.

I read the article, and I was a little bit surprised when they said something about "Palin's delightful performance." What performance? She barely said anything and then just kind of danced to the rap. I think that the article over-glorified Palin's performance, because it wasn't much. In my opinion, her just sitting there wasn't terribly "engaging," and it doesn't make her "qualified to host her own television show."

However, I think her appearance on SNL might have helped things a little because the Tina Fey skits have become so popular, and that's probably one of the main things that Sarah Palin has become known for. It was damaging her credibility, and it was pretty much imperative that she appear on the show in order to fix things. I think that it served the purpose of showing people that Tina Fey's impersonation is not the real her and that she is more respectable than that. However, like the article said, it doesn't show that she is ready to possibly be president if something happens to McCain.

First off I have to say that this was very funny and big ups for Amy Pohler for doing all this while she is pregnant. I thought that the clip was fun to watch and let us learn a lot about Sara Palin.. But that the same time I feel as If this wasn’t the best choice in the world for her. First off she is in thee eyes of the press 24/7 now , and to go on national TV and make fun of herself, well that not win a lot of points with the people at home. Plus she also made fun of McCain which you think she wouldn’t do.

WOW!!! This was really funny, i was laughing so hard. The lady that was rapping looked so wierd. I liked everything the rap said, it made fun of Sara palin. I liked Sara's hair, but seriously instead of her doing these things i think so should go campaign. I think she should be supporting McCain. I also think that Palin is using her future vice President spot just to get some spotlight. I feel sorry for her becasuse in stead of her doing this she should go out and prove that women can be in chrage. She should be a role model for other females, but that is not what i feel she is doing.

Amy Pohler cracks me up! Haha i love her. This was hilarious i actually heard on the radio the next day in the car when going to school with my mom and i couldn't stop laughing. I just thought it was super funny and now i actually saw the video and it's even funnier! She cracks me up just by the way she was singing and her face expressions. I loved it. SNL is awesome for this. Amy Pohler is so funny! (hmmm i wonder who she's gonna vote for.)

I enjoyed the skit a lot, and I thought it was really funny. Amy Pohler did a good job on the rap, but at the same time I thought the skit wasn't a good way for Palin to represent herself. Yes, SNL will get more viewers because of the skits about the presidential election, but I think the skit might actually hurt McCain/Palin. It might now be difficult for voters to take her seriously as the future vice president of the U.S. It was funny, but if I was an undecided voter, I think this skit would cause me to lean more towards Obama/Biden instead. There has also been a lot on the internet saying that Sarah Palin is hurting McCain's campaign, and that she is the reason he isn't doing as well as Obama. I think that is partially true. Palin hasn't stuck out for me, and after this skit I wouldn't be able to take her seriously. If anything happened to McCain I wouldn't want her running the country.

Haha. That was funny. I didn't get some of the things she was rapping about though such as what she said about Obama, all i heard was Obama "air" or something like that.I honestly think that by being on a comedy show while your trying to run for vice or president, makes you seem like your not that serious about running.

I thought this rap was hilarious!!!!! it was so funny how the Eskimo guys just popped put of nowhere because she's from Alaska. It was also funny how the woman doing the rapping was so into her rapping and made all of Palin's words entertaining. I think that this is a good way of getting people's attention by showing a different side of her. She has presented herself to be serious and by watching this clip Palin shows a different side to her, A Sarah Palin with a sense of humor.

I thought this was funny. I don't watch SNL, but I heard this on the radio and I found it amusIng. I feel that people aren't going to take Palin as seriously because of her role in the show.

Her rap was funny but I think this will affect her campaign. People might not take her seriously anymore. They might think she might not be able to handle all the responsibility it requires to be vice president. So this could affect her winning the campaign with John McCain. So this was a bad move on her part.

The Palin Rap by Amy Poehler was entertaining! =) I laughed throughout the whole sketch. My favorite part was when Poehler sang" from my house I can see Russia". I agree with the article that Palin showed that she has a sense of humor by appearing on SNL. The fact that she appeared on SNL showed that she is able to laugh at jokes about herself and not take the jokes seriously. I think that Americans shouldn't judge Palin's qualifications as vice president because she has poor interviewing skills. I think that Americans should take into consideration that she has only been highly publicized in the media for 7 weeks unlike McCain, Biden, and Obama.

I think that Amy Pauler's rap was rather funny. She does a good job portraying Sarah Palin.I think that it would have been hilarious if Palin would have rapped. My favorite part was when Amy shot the moose.Overal It was really funny and I'm glad I watched it.Im still rather confused whether or not Amy was trying to make fun of Palin or not. But Kudos to Amy Pauler for a great rap!

SNL never fails to make me laugh whenever they do their parodies of this election. This was hilarious.

Like the article said, "Ms. Fey’s impersonation of Ms. Palin has proved so dead-on — and popular — that it has further undermined Ms. Palin’s plausibility." Honestly, I don't believe that it was the smartest choice for Palin to appear on SNL. The elections are fast approaching, and instead of appearing on SNL for publicity, she should've been endorsing that she IS a plausible candidate. I think that her appearance has even further reinforced in people's minds that Palin isn't a respectable vice presidential candidate. However, I guess this did allow her to get attention. If that was her initial motive, then I suppose she accomplished that goal.
