Why do you think so many celebrities are supporting Obama instead of McCain? (This should be a fact-based, logical answer! "Obama for your momma" does not count!)
Be thankful for two things: These women fought for your right to vote, and you don't have to dress like this.

I think that artists are trying to spread awareness through their music. They also are probably democrat supporters. Many young people are the ones who do not vote, so they are trying to influence them to make the right decision. Many fans look up to the celebrities and may feel obligated to vote after they see that it is actually very important. These artist also probably know how it feel to go through struggles. They too were once middle class normal people. They probably still have family that are struggling and want a change. Obama is the one who can make these changes, and McCain thinks a middle class person makes $250,000. !! CRAZY TALK.
I think that celebrities want to vote for Obama because most rappers or music makers are a minority. one of the facts on the bottom was that McCain doesn't want to make civil rights holidays and I think thats wrong because it is an issue that happened in the US.:]
I think so many celebrities are supporting and going to vote for Obama instead of McCain because Obama seems like a true and real person. He is more respectful and honest with what he says to other people and what he does. It seems Obama is making promises that he is going to keep and perform if he becomes the next President. If Obama becomes President, he will use his promises to do everything and anything to help the big important issues that are still a huge problem in our world till this very day. I know Obama will be a great President if he does become the next President of the United States of America. Go Obama 08!
Many celebrities and artists are supporting Obama. Some artists have written about Obama in their music. For example, if I'm not mistaken some rappers have written about the presidential campaign in their lyrics. With this happening many young people are being involved with the election even though they aren't able to vote. Another reason is, there are a lot of middle class families so Obama is getting a lot of support because he wants to help middle class families. Overall, Obama seems like a good candidate that is going to help fix the economy and make great changes. So Obama is the person to vote!
I think many celebrities are voting for Obama instead of McCain because they think McCain will continue the policies of the Bush administration. Many American citizens are hungry for change and Obama promises to bring that. Obama seems more understanding of the American people by pushing to help those who are middle class. He used to be in middle class so he knows and understands the struggles everyday America is going through. McCain, on the other hand, never had that experience so he pushes for help for corporate America because they help the American economy through the jobs they provide. According to the video, Bush will leave behind a record high $482 billion deficit but this will probably grow more because of the worsening economy. The celebrities' participation in politics attracts more people who wouldn't otherwise be interested in politics and lets them be aware that they have a voice. Their activeness encourages people to use it and vote. =]
