When I saw the 30 minute of Obama's comercial. It made feel that I made the right choice by voting for him, because as I was watching it, it made me think that he is doing everything and anything to get people to vote for him, most likely the young people. Even though it was kind of long but I liked it overall.
This infomercial was so good, it almost made me cry!I think the infomercial does make a big difference. If people were undecided on who they wanted to vote for before I think this clears it up for everyone. This infomercial cost $300 million dollars and it was totally worth it! It addressed all the issues that Americans are concerned about. It took real people and shared their stories with America. It also showed that Obama is a real person who really cares about the little guys. This infomercial really touched my heart. It made me want to vote for him. Another thing is that I think people forget we need to make a change we need to make history. I really hope people who are undecided or don't want to vote really change their minds!
I think it was a very move by Obama to go and buy all that time so he could go and talk about his view on the issues. Great move Obama. What is even better is the Republicans are mad as heck about this. They're just mad that they didn't think about it first. And besides they spent all their money on Sarah Palin's outfit that cost 150 thousand. Some nerve of those people. Anyways I think that this will help Obama win the election and I wish him the very ebst of luck. Go Obama!!
Barack Obama’s thirty minute infomercial was a pretty good move, in my opinion. This was a good way to tell America his plan and to explain why he is the better man for the job. I think that for decided voters, it might not made much of a difference. Those voting for Barack Obama are probably thrilled and at this point just watched something which increased their belief that he would be the best president. Those that are definitely voting for John McCain probably thought the infomercial was boring and may have wanted something more exciting. The Republicans are probably trying to use this against Obama and are saying this decision is extravagant one, pointing out that Americans cannot trust a man who would not take care of out money well. So, I think if you are a decided voter, this infomercial probably helped those undecided voters make up their minds…and probably for Obama. But, right now the camp probably thinks that any vote they can get is excellent. There are still undecided voters out there, and the camp obviously believed it was wise to get there message out there. I think the McCain campaign would have done the same if they had as much money as Obama. They are trying to make this seem like a negative thing, but I think they are just jealous. The money has been given to Obama for these kinds of things…millions of people have donated, even if only small amounts of money, to the campaign. I felt like Obama was not trying to push people to vote for him (at least not in a forceful way). He stated his plan and seemed very presidential (I thought it was so clever of them to have him stand behind a room that closely resembled the Oval Office). This infomercial was very well-calculated and thought-out. I loved how Obama never mentioned McCain or Palin’s name. He talked about his own issues! He showed four struggling families that were having terrible economic problems. The people that he picked were from SWING STATES--Ohio, Missouri, New Mexico…to attract undecided voters. The infomercial was also very touching. I felt the music helped a lot-- it was so patriotic and inspirational. Overall, this video was very thought-out and very productive. I thought it was a very good idea, and apparently so did 33.5 million people (Nielson) throughout the country. -Aislinn
